About Hesstech's Green-Partner Program
The Green-Partner Program enables employers and property management companies to extend responsible electronics recycling services to employees and tenants. Obsolete electronics contain hazardous components and personal data that must be properly managed. By participating in this program, you are assured that your confidential information will be destroyed and that your waste materials will not harm the environment.
Hesstech Recycling Services
Hesstech, LLC, a New Jersey based, state permitted electronics processing facility provides electronics recycling services. Obsolete or non-functioning equipment is recycled by removing hazardous materials like batteries, leaded CRT glass, mercury containing devices, etc. After the hazardous components are removed the remaining parts are shredded and recycled for reuse in the manufacturing of new products. The shredding also assures equipment will not be shipped to processors overseas, where unsafe working conditions and improper disposal often exist.
Data Security
We all know desktop computers and laptops hard drives can contain sensitive and personal information. You may not realize fax machines, copiers, scanners, and other electronics can also contain confidential information that could cause harm if released. All data is certified to be destroyed by Hesstech. On-site data shredding services are also available.
Disposal Liabilities
It's not difficult to identify the original owner of a piece of electronic equipment improperly disposed of or illegally exported to a foreign country. The serial number can easily be traced back to the original owner who without title transfer records can be held liable for cleanup costs and often bear the burden of unfavorable press. Hesstech takes title to all equipment and indemnifies the original owner from all risks of loss. Records of all materials processed are maintained indefinitely by Hesstech to protect against any future claims. To support this service Hesstech tracks all equipment and residual materials to a point where the title is transferred for resold items or the metals and plastics are processed into raw material commodities from recycled equipment. Batteries, leaded CRT glass, mercury containing devices, etc. are removed from recycled equipment and the remaining parts are shredded and recycled for reuse in the manufacturing of new products. All recycling and raw materials recovery processes are performed domestically and at facilities audited to confirm environmental sound practices are employed.
